Cell Phone Carrier Account Number & Transfer PIN Directory
✓ Switching carriers • Account number • Transfer PIN • Port-out help
Use this directory when you are switching cell phone providers and want to keep your current phone number. Your new carrier will usually ask for your account number, Number Transfer PIN / Port-Out PIN, and billing ZIP code.
🔒 Protect your transfer information: Your account number and transfer PIN can be used to move your phone number. Only give them to the carrier you are intentionally switching to. Never send them to TapHelp, an unexpected caller, text sender, or anyone claiming they need to “verify” your account.
Important: Do not cancel your old cell phone service before the number transfer is complete. If the line is canceled too early, you may lose the ability to transfer the number.

If your carrier is not listed
- Open the carrier’s app or website and search for Transfer PIN, Port Out, or Number Transfer.
- Check the latest bill for the account number.
- If you still cannot find it, contact the carrier and say: “I need my account number and port-out / Number Transfer PIN so I can move my phone number to another carrier.”
- Keep the line active until the new carrier confirms the number transfer is complete.
