How to Get Your Cricket Wireless Account Number and Transfer PIN

To move your Cricket number, your new carrier will need your Cricket account number and a Number Transfer PIN.
🔒 Protect your transfer information: Your account number and transfer PIN can be used to move your phone number. Only give them to the carrier you are intentionally switching to. Never send them to TapHelp, an unexpected caller, text sender, or anyone claiming they need to “verify” your account.
Find your Cricket account number
- Sign in to the myCricket app or Cricket account.
- Review your Account Information.
- If you cannot find it, call Cricket at 1-800-CRICKET (274-2538).
Fastest way to get the Number Transfer PIN
- From your Cricket phone, dial *PORT or *PORTAR.
- Follow the prompts to request the Number Transfer PIN.
From the myCricket app
- Open myCricket.
- Tap the gear icon to open Account Info.
- Select the correct line under Line Settings.
- Tap Get my Number Transfer PIN.
Cricket Number Transfer PINs are temporary and are generally valid for 5 days. Use the transfer PIN—not your normal Cricket account PIN—when giving port-out information to the new carrier.
