TracFone port-out information can depend on how your line was originally activated, so verify the account number before giving it to your new carrier.
🔒 Protect your transfer information: Your account number and transfer PIN can be used to move your phone number. Only give them to the carrier you are intentionally switching to. Never send them to TapHelp, an unexpected caller, text sender, or anyone claiming they need to “verify” your account.
Find the account number
- Open your TracFone account or app and review My Account / My Profile.
- If the account number is not clearly shown, contact TracFone support and ask them to confirm the number used for porting.
Get the Number Transfer PIN
- Text NTP to 611611 from the TracFone line.
- Or open your TracFone account and look for Number Transfer PIN.
- Generate the PIN if prompted.
If you cannot get the information, contact TracFone support or text HELP to 611611.
Do not cancel or let the line expire before the number transfer completes.
