How to Get Your Total Wireless Account Number and Transfer PIN

To move a Total Wireless number to another carrier, you need the account number and a temporary Number Transfer PIN.
🔒 Protect your transfer information: Your account number and transfer PIN can be used to move your phone number. Only give them to the carrier you are intentionally switching to. Never send them to TapHelp, an unexpected caller, text sender, or anyone claiming they need to “verify” your account.
Find your Total Wireless account number
Depending on how the line was activated, the account number may be based on the phone’s IMEI or the last 15 digits of the SIM card number. Check your Total Wireless account first or contact support to confirm the exact account number before submitting the port.
Get the Number Transfer PIN
- From the Total Wireless phone, open Messages.
- Text NTP to 611611.
- Follow the response instructions to receive the transfer PIN.
